travelled through München, Hildesheim, Rheinfels, Frankfurt, Augusburg, Nürnberg and other places.

in research of historical manuscripts, in search of the possibility of the reunification of the Catholic and the Protestant.
on the way, met many people, read many manuscripts, saw many curious collections, manied many manies.

arrived at Wien.

stayed for half a year. Leibniz got sick.

Tentamen de motuum coelestium causis.

a paper sent to Acta Eruditorum, inspired by the review of Newton's Philosophiae naturalis principia mathematica (so called Principia, 1687).

in Rome, met Grimaldi (a missionary of Society of Jesus) and got information on China.

visited Florence, Bologna (met Malpighi), Modena, Venice, Naples (climbed Mt. Vesuvius).
