Mike Sangster: guitars, vocals, tapes | |
Produced by Tom Tatman and Head Candy |
I had known nothing about this band when I found this CD, and hooked by a song named 'Mona Lisa Overdrive'. I wondered if this song had some relation to William Gibson's Novel. Disappointedly, it seems that they just borrowed the title (as is often the case).
The band plays ordinary guitar rock -- pop American hard rock as a whole. But can feel some influence of Sonic Youth. Not only the guitars but also the vocal sounds like Thurston Moore.
